In support of LOVE Month, do yourself a favor and rock the red! My favorite color is red and I try to incorporate it into my outfits throughout the week. Since red is so bold and eye-catching, you should have one focus piece and balance it with softer or neutral colors. Or you can do the opposite and just use red accent pieces. The outfits below are paired with a wilder & fun leopard print!

Red at work.
You still want to look professional in the work place so I pieced this outfit from my closet yesterday. I went for a red pencil skirt, a cream silky blouse, leopard print skinny belt and black pumps. I wore the blouse tucked in and the skinny belt separating the two colors. However, if you’re still working on those abs of steel, this look can still work for you – just untuck the blouse but wear the belt around your waist so you can still cover up the mid-section but doesn’t look like you’re mistakenly color blocking. Also, keep in mind that pencil skirts are tighter so you don’t want to equally wear a tighter top to work. Blouses with loose sleeves balances out the “tighter silhouette” bottom. Accent your outfits with simple but bold jewelry. The great thing about a non-printed top and bottom is that you can accessorize, accessorize, and accessorize!

Red at play.
Leopard print and Red? Together? No, it’s just not for bedroom play (rawr!). Blazers have come a long away from just being considered a ‘work outfit’ because they come in so many cuts and colors now. They  give any outfit a ‘dressed up’ or ‘dressed down’ look. I paired these red pants and loose leopard top with a beige blazer. Similar to the concept of the work outfit described above, “tight bottom, loose top” and “tight top, loose bottom” with the same color scheme works for a night out or movie date night (or both). The booties are great for those chilly nights and the clutch is an easy carry. Less is always more so simple themed jewelry pulls this outfit together.
